Bird Toon of the Day - November 4, 2022
Free Range: I don't think this is what Macy's had in mind when they created their parade.

Zits: How about a smartphone alarm that plays the sound of a rooster crowing, then?
Free Range: Sneaky ol' turkeys.
This year, I'm going to do something a little different with the Thanksgiving toons. I'm going to post five during the first week of the month that I found particularly amusing, then take a break until the annual Diamond Lil "turkey farm" story arc (which will be a second toon from the 14th through the 25th), followed by a few Thanksgiving toons over the weekend after the big day.
So ... here we go!
This is one of a series of toons by Lonnie Easterling from 2015-16. The website "spudtoons.com" is no longer active, but I found a bunch of them at Bored Panda. This one is in honor of Elon Musk taking over Twitter, which in my opinion is a scarier thing than any Halloween costume.
Andertoons: I am totally in agreement here.
Cheezburger: I don't know what surprises me more ... that an eagle needs flight school or that the instructor is a crow.
The Far Side: Understatement of the year.
Birdbrains: I guess protests are really ubiquitous, if even the crows are doing it.
Tundra: And exactly what does a birdhouse need for a good rating?
