Quita Memorial Challenge Grant - Dec. 31 morning update
Only ONE more day to give (Today!) to get a 2014 tax deduction, help our birds, AND get a Quita Memorial Challenge Grant match!
Our current total is $17,107, over 57% toward our $30,000 end-of-year fundraising goal! Our foster birds and the many volunteers who make up Mickaboo appreciate your donating during this Challenge Grant time. Doing so makes your gift go further - and helps energize our volunteers for 2015.
Eagle, Mildred, Coffee, Mocha, and George are a few of the many birds benefitting from your collective generosity. They are about 12 years old and have been in an aviary most, if not all, their lives, in the San Jose area. They all appear to be males, are all healthy and and very active .. especially around feeding time. Their surrender to Mickaboo was caused by a combination of a marital separation and subsequent move - a story we often hear at Mickaboo.
Want to help this flock of cockatiels and other birds like them before the Challenge Grant period is up *tomorrow*? One may give:
- online, with a credit card through Network for Good
- online via Mickaboo's website (www.mickaboo.org) - use either of the two "donate" buttons in the left margin
- online through PayPal (login to *your* Paypal account, if you have one, and send money to donations "at" mickaboo.org)
- by sending a check or money order to: Mickaboo, P.O. Box 697, San Jose, CA 95106-0697
ALL gifts of any size are welcome and, if you give today, are tax-deductible for 2014!
