Break Of Day:  Seems about right for a bar catering to ducks.

Birdbrains:  Yeah, sure, that's the reason.

Mother Goose & Grimm: I've heard of singles bars, but this is just plain ludicrous.

Cartoonist Leo Cullum (1942-2010) is said to have contributed more than 800 cartoons to the New Yorker during a career that spanned 33 years.  He frequently used birds as anthromorphic characters, as in this example.  Original publication dates are unknown, but I will share some of them as they become available.

Half Full: I don't think this toon requires any commentary.

The site referenced at the bottom of this toon no longer exists (I found this on a discussion board) but I still find it amusing ... and which recent President does that eagle resemble?

The Far Side:  Apparently the mimic concept works in printed as well as verbal form.

The Other Coast:  Maybe you should just refer to him as a "sea-e-gull".
