Cartoonist Leo Cullum (1942-2010) is said to have contributed more than 800 cartoons to the New Yorker during a career that spanned 33 years. He frequently used birds as anthromorphic characters, as in this example. Original publication dates are unknown, but I will share some of them as they become available.

The site referenced at the bottom of this toon no longer exists (I found this on a discussion board) but I still find it amusing ... and which recent President does that eagle resemble?
