Today is our first June 11 of four that will come in the next seven days.  (See earlier note back on the 3rd.)

Our first June 11 is from 2010 and is the Speed Bump for that date:

I have discovered, much to my surprise (since i don't read the strip) that there is a parrot character in Hagar the Horrible that makes an appearance from time to time.  I've dug up a few of those, and today's is from June 6, 2009:

This month, I have a lot of conflicts with published dates; the worst comes on the 11th when I have no fewer than five strips with that calendar date.  So there will be frequent postings in June of strips on other than their publication anniversary.

This is a rarity ... as far as I am aware, this is the only Blondie strip from decades of publication that has a bird theme.  From one year ago today:
