We start off the month a day ahead of ourselves because of those conflicts I have to schedule around.  Strange Brew from February 2, 2013 is a particularly strange one:

Polly the parrot makes an off-camera "appearance" in this Hagar the Horrible Sunday strip from five years ago today:

This is a strip called The Other Coast (I don't recall if I've featured any of them here before ... I only discovered it in the past several months, although it apparently has been around since 2001).  It is largely focused on a dog named Koko and his canine friends, but the cartoonist works other issues in from time to time and the occasional bird pops up.  Such is the case in this strip from today in 2014:

This Sunday Diamond Lil from four years ago today is actually a follow-up to the Stupid The Bird migration story arc from 2012 that I haven't gotten around to, for those who wonder about the discrepancy from the story arc I did back in November.

No color in today's Frank and Ernest strip, because it is from the pre-daily color era ... today in 1995:

The Dogs of C-Kennel from this date in 2013. You may recall from a previous strip that Wheeler is normally reddish in color.
