Continuing the Christmas toons, and staying with that famous song as a theme ...

Today through next Thursday, all Christmas bird toons.

Mutts:  Nooooo ... not another tie!

Strange Brew:  Probably not barbecued ones, though.

Brevity:  I wonder what the Latin name is for that species.

Tundra:  This was from last year, but could just as easily have been current.

The Other Coast:  There is some logic in that argument.

Speed Bump:  A woodpecker who is apparently part beaver.

Half Full:  For some reason, all I can think about when reading this toon is the late Yogi Berra's statement on a popular New York City restaurant ("no one goes there anymore, it's too crowded").

Family Tree:  I had not heard of this strip, but someone sent me this 12-year-old entry in the series, which I share as a pretty good idea for those of us with wild bird feeders and squirrels ...
