Edgar and Bonnie are a bonded pair of orange wing amazons who are very laid back. When their owner of over 20 years became ill and could no longer take care of them, neighbors stepped in and took turns helping to ensure they had food and water. One of the kind neighbors also heard about Mickaboo and contacted us to see if we could help.

Their foster mom reports that sometimes they squabble like an old married couple. They have settled into their foster home nicely and venture out onto their cage top and take food offered by hand. They whistle and one of them tries to talk. Edgar and Bonnie enjoy ambient attention from humans but are also good at entertaining themselves. Their foster mom describes them as "quite nice." Orange wing amazons have a reputation for being nice birds. If you would like a cute couple to brighten your life, please contact the amazon coordinator.
