Pickle is 15 years old and is bonded to Peanut, a 16-year-old white-headed female caique. Both birds will need to be adopted together. They share a cage and are always together, as can be see in the photo. Pickle is on the right and Peanut is on the left. Pickle`s favorite foods are almonds, hot peppers, and bananas. Pickle steps up and is generally cooperative with returning to his cage. He is not particularly loud. Pickle took daily medication to treat liver fibrosis for about 2 years but has now been healthy for several years. He sees an avian vet and no longer takes medicaton but should continue to have hisl liver monitored. Pickle is flighted. He plucks his feathers when stressed, but this does not occur frequently anymore.
