Cary has seamlessly settled into our chaotic bird family. He has a great appetite, plays with his toys, is very polite and gentle, loves his evening cuddles and head scritches, has VERY long mumbly phone conversations in the middle of the day punctuated with bursts of laughter and interspersed with microwave beeps and sharp smoke detector chirps, and enjoys reporting his observations from his view of the garden. His cage door is open most of the day and he goes in and out as he pleases. He had one episode of night frights, that we were warned happened occasionally. We put on a nightlight and cover his cage at night so part of the front is open. All of that seems to have helped.
