Hi, I`m Grogu, the turquoise guy on the right. I was surrendered to Mickaboo in July 2022 with my pal Mondo. I am a very inquisitive little boy who enjoys millet, spinach, pellets & fruits. I am happy to preen and beak bump my cage mates, but I`m not bonded to them. I enjoy spritz baths. I`m not hand tame but probably could be with more time. I am happy in my foster home but sure would love a forever home! Maybe yours?
In nature, parakeets (budgerigars) live in large flocks. A single bird in a cage spends much of his/her life being lonely because humans have things they must do that take them away. We therefore will only adopt a single parakeet to a household if there is already at least one parakeet living there. Otherwise, parakeets must be adopted in groups of two or more.
