I am Lucy, a beautiful female Indian Ringneck. I am a little on the shy side and generally love to stay in my cage. Occasionally, when I feel bold, I`ll climb onto the open door and look around. I am pretty chatty at around 8:30pm. I also enjoy being read to. I am not that keen on hands but show a cautious curiosity if there`s a piece of food in your hand.
For food, I love corn kernels, apples, and melons (albeit the crisper ones like an orange-fleshed honeydew or Galia). I still need some convincing to try more vegetables.
I enjoy weekly spritzes with a spray bottle. I also like watching youtube videos of other Indian Ringnecks and, believe or not, videos of humpback whales.
