The fifth installment of Stupid the Bird's moutling experience provides the punchline for yesterday's Diamond Lil strip:
Part four of the Diamond Lil story arc of Stupid the Bird's moult last year takes an eerie coincidental twist (politically) as additional "coverage" is added:
Stupid the Bird's moult takes on a biblical slant in part three of this Diamond Lil story arc from a year ago:
Part two of Stupid the Bird's moult, from Diamond Lil of August 25,2015:
Starting another six-part story arc in Diamond Lil (August 24-29 of last year) with -- of course -- the mishaps of Stupid the Bird. This time, he deals with moulting.
WuMo from August 24, 2014. That'll be some moult when Harry gets to it.
Six Chix from August 24 of last year. Who knew the proverbial chicken had more on her mind?
Calvin and Hobbes from August 21, 1989. This counts as a bird toon in my opinion because, among other things, Watterson drew a very accurate hummingbird in the first three panels.
Rhymes With Orange from August 20, 2015. I count it as a bird 'toon because the bird got half the dialogue in the panel plus the title comment. (Bonus points if you get the reference in the latter.)
I've never been certain where this cartoon originated, but it's one of my favorites from an intellectual perspective ... not to mention the pun.
